Terms of Service
Last updated 29 June 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Doddle Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16256282) with its registered office in Southampton, United Kingdom, trading as “Doddlesoft” (“Doddlesoft”, “we”, “us”). They set out the rules for using Anyscribe at anyscribe.so and everything it offers (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Anyscribe.
1. Who can use Anyscribe
You need to be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are.
If you are using Anyscribe on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for it, and “you” means that organisation.
2. Your account
You sign in through our authentication provider, Clerk. Keep your login details safe and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
3. The Service and your right to use it
Anyscribe takes a single input, a thought, a voice note, a link, or a draft, and turns it into posts written for different social platforms (X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Threads) in a voice that matches yours.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while these terms are in force. You may not copy, resell, or sublicense the Service, and you may not try to reverse-engineer it or pull out the underlying prompts or models.
4. Plans, the free tier, and credits
We offer a free tier and paid plans (currently Creator and Studio). Each plan comes with a monthly allowance of words and other limits, which we describe on the pricing page and in your account.
You can also buy one-off add-on credits (for example, extra words or extra interviews) when a month runs short. Credits are added to your balance, are used after your monthly allowance, and don't expire. They can't be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.
We may change what the free tier includes, or withdraw it, at any time.
5. Billing, renewals, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in the currency at checkout and may include tax depending on where you are.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause your access until it's settled.
6. Your 14-day cancellation right
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase for a refund. Because Anyscribe is a digital service you can use right away, you ask us to start straight away when you subscribe, and you accept that once we've started providing the Service you lose this 14-day right for the part you've used.
If you cancel within the 14 days before using the Service, we'll refund what you've paid.
7. Refunds
Other than the cancellation right above, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused allowance. This doesn't affect any rights you have under law that can't be waived, such as your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something has gone wrong, email us and we'll try to put it right.
8. What you can and can't do
Use Anyscribe for lawful purposes and follow the rules of any platform you post to. You must not use the Service to:
- create or publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate a person or brand you have no right to, or pass off generated content in a way that breaks a platform's rules;
- send spam, run bulk automated posting that breaches a platform's terms, or scrape the Service;
- try to break, overload, or get around the limits or security of the Service, or extract the underlying models or prompts.
If you break these rules, we may remove content, limit features, or close your account.
9. Your content: what you put in and what you get out
You own what you put in (your ideas, notes, links, and the writing samples you paste to build a voice), and you own the posts Anyscribe generates for you. We don't claim ownership of either.
You give us permission to process your input only as far as we need to run the Service for you, generate your posts, and store your work in your account. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use what you put in, and that what you publish complies with the law and the rules of the platforms you post to.
10. How the AI works, and what it does and doesn't promise
To generate posts, your input is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through their API. Your content is not used to train Anthropic's models or ours.
Anyscribe produces AI-generated text. It can be wrong, can read awkwardly, and isn't guaranteed to be original or unique to you. Treat every draft as a starting point: read it, edit it, and check it before you publish. We don't promise that output will be accurate, fit a particular purpose, or be free of any resemblance to other writing, and what you choose to publish is your decision and your responsibility.
11. Connecting Buffer and other services
Anyscribe never posts anywhere on its own. If you want to schedule or publish, you can connect your own Buffer account, and we'll only send a post when you ask us to. Your use of Buffer and of each social platform is governed by their terms, not ours, and we're not responsible for their service, outages, or decisions.
12. Our intellectual property
The Service itself, including the software, the prompt and voice-matching engine, the design, and the Anyscribe name and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to it beyond using the Service as described.
13. Availability, changes, and support
We work to keep Anyscribe running well, but we provide it on a reasonable-efforts basis and can't promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may add, change, or remove features, and we'll give reasonable notice of major changes where we can.
14. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using Anyscribe and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems (see the Privacy Policy for the detail).
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, don't pay, or misuse the Service. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you first.
15. Disclaimers and our liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing here limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. If you're using Anyscribe as a consumer, this section doesn't take away rights the law gives you that can't be limited.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know (for example, by email or in the app) before it takes effect. If you keep using Anyscribe after a change, that counts as accepting the new terms. If you don't agree, you can close your account.
17. Governing law and your local rights
These terms, and any dispute connected with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you use Anyscribe as a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you're a consumer, choosing English law doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or of your home country.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right that the law gives you and that can't lawfully be limited or excluded.
